Terms & Conditions

Permissions

  1. If your video features any person under the age of 18, you must submit a completed Minor Release Form for each minor, signed by a parent or legal guardian of the minor, before your video can be considered. Minor Release Form can be obtained from the organizers on request.
  2. It is your responsibility to ensure that appropriate permission is obtained from the concerned authorities before a particular location or individual/s are filmed. 
  3. By submitting your video, you grant the contest organizers full rights to use the video for promotional and educational purposes, display the video on their official websites and social media, distribute the video to partner organizations, and show the video at public screenings and film festivals.
  4. All submitting creators retain copyright of their original work. Proper credits will be given to all creators in all instances where their work is used.

Fitness to Contest

  1.  Those who have received a confirmation of their Eligibility to Participate will receive information about the modalities of submitting the video entry. 
  2. The contestants will be required to submit signed undertakings regarding the originality and required permissions.
  3. The videos will be reviewed for Fitness to Contest (FTC) before they are presented to a Committee of Jurors. The FTC will depend on adherence to all the rules stipulated regarding the submission. If further documentation or undertakings are required, the contestants will be notified.  Failure to comply with all FTC guidelines can result in disqualification of video even after submission. 

Content Standards

  1. Content must be appropriate for a general audience (no explicit sexual content, no extreme violence).
  2. No hate speech, harassment, or promotion of discrimination or illegal activities.
  3. No defamatory or libelous statements about individuals, organizations, nations, or communities.
  4. Content must comply with all local and national laws in India.

The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time, without prior notice. In such circumstances, the organizers are under no obligation to select winners, distribute prizes, or provide compensation of any kind to the registrants of the contest and/or those involved in making the video. In such a scenario, the organizers will forfeit any right to use the videos submitted as part of this contest.
