Video Contest

The Video Contest invites school and college students to submit original short films that creatively explore the theme: 


“Happy, Healthy, and Holy Families –Expressions of Families Flourishing.”


This contest encourages young filmmakers to capture inspiring stories that reveal the beauty, strength, and values of family life in today’s world. Through their creativity and filmmaking, students are encouraged to share their vision and stories of what makes a family truly happy and flourishing, and explore how families nurture love, faith, wellbeing, and unity across cultures and communities.

The goal is to inspire audiences around the world by presenting meaningful examples of family life that can serve as models for others in their own lives and communities.

The Contest will be held at Two Levels:

  • School Students of Classes VIII to XII.


  • Undergraduate/ Postgraduate students


(Currently enrolled students at Schools/ colleges can apply ( regardless of boards/ language.)

Classes 8 to 12 Level

1st Place: Rs. 50,000 /-


2nd Place: Rs. 30,000 /-


3rd Place : Rs. 20,000/-


 

Best Male Actor:  Rs. 10,000 /-


Best Female Actor: Rs. 10,000 /-


Best Cinematography: Rs. 10,000 /-


Most inspirational message: Rs. 10,000 /- 

Undergraduate & Post

1st Place: Rs. 75,000 /-


2nd Place: Rs. 50,000 /-


3rd Place: Rs. 30,000/-


 

Best Male Actor:  Rs. 10,000 /-


Best Female Actor: Rs. 10,000 /-


Best Cinematography: Rs. 10,000 /-


Most inspirational message: Rs. 10,000 /- 

Award Ceremony in Bangalore

The top three entries in each category will be eligible to participate in a one-day seminar in Bangalore during which the winning entries will be premiered and prizes distributed. The date will be announced later. The winning entries will be eligible for travel reimbursement upto an equivalent of second class AC travel in Express trains from the railway station closest to their school/college to Bangalore City (KSR) Railway station. They will also be provided with board and lodge at no cost. Further details will be communicated to the winners. 

Eligibility for International Contest

  

The winning entry (First Place) from UG/PG category will be considered for participation in an international contest, at the sole discretion of the organizers. The winners will be determined by an international jury and will carry the following prizes:


First Prize:      Rs. 3,00,000

Second Prize: Rs. 2,00,000

Third Prize: Rs. 1,00,000
