Registration Rules

· All those who are interested must register. 

· Registration can be done as a single individual or as a Team of upto three individuals. All team members need to be school/college students, but need not study in the same school/college. Any number of persons can participate in the video in different capacities.

· There is no limit to the number of registrations from any single school/college.

· Only one video is permitted from each registration.

· No individual can be part of more than one registration.

· All participants will need to upload a colour scanned copy of valid student IDs and Aadhar cards at the time of online registration.

· After submitting the registration form, you will receive confirmation of your eligibility to participate in the contest.

· The eligible participants / team will need to pay an amount of Rs. 500 as Registration fees.

Technical Specification

  

Video Requirements:


  1. · Length: 8 to 10 minutes (including titles and credits)
  2. · Titles and Credits should not exceed 30 seconds.
  3. · Recommended resolution: at least 1080p (1920x1080); higher resolutions allowed.
  4. · Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, or MKV
  5. · Frame rate: 24fps, 25fps, or 30fps
  6. · If the Video is not in English, English subtitles are required. 



Audio Requirements:


  1. Audio must be clear, balanced, and free from excessive noise or distortion.
  2. All music and sound effects must be original/ royalty-free or properly licensed.
  3. No copyrighted music, dialogue, or sound may be used without appropriate permission. Proof of license or permission to use audio must be provided on request.

Conditions:

  1. Those who have received a confirmation of their Eligibility to Participate will receive information about the modalities of submitting the video entry. 
  2. The contestants will be required to submit signed undertakings regarding the originality and required permissions.
  3. All submissions must be original work created specifically for this contest.
  4. Previously published videos and those submitted for another contest are not allowed. 
  5. The videos will be reviewed for Fitness to Contest (FTC) before they are presented to a Committee of Jurors. The FTC will depend on adherence to all the rules stipulated regarding the submission. If further documentation or undertakings are required, the contestants will be notified.  Failure to comply with all FTC guidelines can result in disqualification of video even after submission.
  6. If your video features any person under the age of 18, you must submit a completed Minor Release Form for each minor, signed by a parent or legal guardian of the minor, before your video can be considered. Minor Release Form can be obtained from the organizers on request.
  7. It is your responsibility to ensure that appropriate permission is obtained from the concerned authorities before a particular location or individual/s are filmed. 
  8. By submitting your video, you grant the contest organizers full rights to use the video for promotional and educational purposes, display the video on their official websites and social media, distribute the video to partner organizations, and show the video at public screenings and film festivals.
  9. All submitting creators retain copyright of their original work. Proper credits will be given to all creators in all instances where their work is used.
  10. Content must be appropriate for a general audience (no explicit sexual content, no extreme violence).
  11. No hate speech, harassment, or promotion of discrimination or illegal activities.
  12. No defamatory or libelous statements about individuals, organizations, nations, or communities.
  13. Content must comply with all local and national laws in India.

The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time, without prior notice. In such circumstances, the organizers are under no obligation to select winners, distribute prizes, or provide compensation of any kind to the registrants of the contest and/or those involved in making the video. In such a scenario, the organizers will forfeit any right to use the videos submitted as part of this contest.
